Primary Hodgkin´s Disease of the Stomach

Abstract

|
Recently authors experienced a case of Primary Hodgkin´s disease of stomach and the case is
presented here with review of literature.
The patient was a 55 years old chinese male who complainted of longstanding of indigestion.
Upper G-I study with barium meal disclosed irregular filling defect of body of stomach, total
gastrectomy was performed and esophago-jejunostomy with Braun´s anastomosis was done.
Histologic examination revealed primary Hodgkins disease of stomach but the regiona lymphnodes
were positive in 4 out of 32 lymphnodes.
The patient was discharged in good condition.
